Violin / Tzu-Hsuan Chang

A native of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Tzu-Hsuan Chang began violin studies with her father at the age of seven. She graduated from National Kaohsiung Normal University, and received a Master’s degree in Violin performance from Taipei National University of the Arts. Her primary violin teachers include Kuo-Liang Ni, Yin-Chou Hung, Cheng-Tu Su, Meng-Ping Wu and I-Ching Li.

Chang gained professional experience through TNUA & NSO Internship Program. As an orchestra violinist, she has played in Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra, Taipei Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Formosa Philharmonic, among others.

Chang has passion for conducting, and she has participated in conducting masterclasses with Shao-Chia Lü and Tung-Chieh Chuang. Chang combine her own conducting and orchestral experience to develop students’ ensemble skills. She is currently an assistant conductor of the string orchestra of Ren-Ai Elementary School, Pingtung.
